Springfield Dance Alliance’s Day of Dance Celebration

Springfield Dance Alliance is hosting our 2nd DAY OF DANCE to celebrate dance and movement in Springfield!

Ages 5 and up are invited to register for classes of all types! All day registration is only $5 and pick and choose what classes you want to attend!
If you register before 4/21 you are guaranteed a Day of Dance T-shirt!!!

Mini Classes (Ages 5-9)

10-11am: Creative Movement with Teresa Simpson from Springfield Ballet – Learn the basic of dance and movement

11-12pm: Kids Jazzercise with Dawn Snapp from Springfield South Jazzercise – Get moving and grooving to this awesome exercise/dance style

12-1pm: Ballet and Jazz Combos with Chelsea Zwikelmaier from Sonshine Dance – Have fun with ballet basics and fun jazz combos!

1-2pm: Kids Hip Hop with Motion Playlist!

2-3pm: Mini Musical Theatre with Elizabeth Brooks from Springfield Dance Alliance – Learn a fun song and dance to take home!

Teen/Preteen Classes (Ages 10-15)

10-10:30am: Modern basics and warm ups with Abigail L Lind from Springfield Dance Alliance

10:30am-11am: Teen Jazzercise with Dawn Snapp from Springfield South Jazzercise – Get moving and grooving to this awesome exercise/dance style

11-12pm: Dance Team Style Jazz with Landyn Block – Learn great technique and combos from a Sugar Bear alumni!

12-pm: Teen Hip Hop with Motion Playlist

1-2pm: Teen Yoga with Alison Vernon a YTG-200 – Learn the basics for strengthening and stretching!

2-3pm: Belly Dancing with Brittney Banaei (All Ages Welcome!)

Adult Classes (Ages 15+)

10-11am: Gentle Yoga Flow with Alison Vernon a YTG-200

11-12pm: Musical Theatre Dance Styles with Elizabeth Brooks from Springfield Dance Alliance

12-1pm: Jazzercise with Dawn Snapp from Springfield South Jazzercise – Get moving and grooving to this awesome exercise/dance style

1-2pm: Adult Ballet with Jamie Williams from Springfield Ballet – Refresh your dancing skills and come back to the ballet barre!

2-3pm: Buti Yoga with Hannah Jayne Harris from S.W.E.T.
