Community Dance Slam Registration

Calling all choreographers, studios, teachers, and dancers to present work at our first Community Dance Slam! All ages, styles, and levels are welcome to participate and share material in an informal showing at Clara Thompson Hall on the Drury Campus with Springfield’s dance community. Participants can choose to perform only or receive professional adjudication supplied by Springfield Dance Alliance. Whether you are interested in showcasing your students’ talents, getting a chance to present your choreography, or simply wanting to share in what other local movement artists are creating, come out and support dance and all of the talented artists who create our dynamic arts community! Selected choreographers from the judged portion will be invited to present their work in Springfield Dance Alliance’s 2012/2013 concert season and receive a one year choreographer membership free (normally $65-$75).
